Join the team at the Ness of Brodgar excavation for two special open days in 2024 and enjoy some Neolithic fun for all the family.

This summer is the last dig season at the Ness of Brodgar so make sure you take the opportunity to visit the excavation before it closes for good. During the open days there will be continuous tours and demonstrations at the site, offering a glimpse into life in Orkney more than 5000-years-ago.

There will also be displays and activities on-site and at the Stenness Community Hall.

The open days will be held on Sunday, July 14th, and Sunday, August 4th, between 11am and 4pm at both the dig and the Stenness Hall. Just turn up at either location at any time to enjoy the events on offer.
